Administrators-General Act, 1963 is a Central legislation enacted in 1963 for consolidating and modifying the legal principles dealing with the office, functions and responsibilities of Administrator General. The Act under Section 3 provides for the appointment of Administrator General by the State Government. The State Government is empowered to appoint the same Administrator General for more than one state if necessary.
